Program : Y700100-- 1050 Hours or about 10 Months.

The Purpose of the program is to prepare students for employment as an Information Technology Assistant, HTML Coder, Assistant Web Designer and Web Designer, or to provide supplemental training for persons previously or currently employed in any of these occupations. After successfully completing this program, the student will be able to perform advanced web design techniques. Students will create graphics and animation as well as develop dynamic multimedia web sites using and applying industry standards. Students will apply their knowledge of web site management and marketing techniques. Software includes: Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop, and Acrobat.Quizzes, Exams, Projects, and Classwork will be graded along with student participation.


Full-time students 7:30 am to 2:00 pm
Part-time students 7:30 am to 10:30 pm


Attendance Policy for Adults Please check with the Financial Aid Office for their strict attendance policy. Please advise the instructor if he must sign and verify your attendance or when you can exit the program to meet financial requirements. Each instructor will review your attendance hours to match student exact hours in attendance.


IMPORTANT: Students will be withdrawn after six (6) consecutive absences. Only two days will be exempt for court appearance, death in family, illness or hospitalization; documentation must be supplied to support the exemption. When a student is not present in the classroom for the scheduled class hours, they are considered to be tardy. Tardies will be recorded in positive one-half hour increments. Students with more than three tardy days will be referred to his/her counselor/advisor or administrator.

Internet Access: Online students will need to participate in the Online program via Broward County Desired 2 Learn: - When students have completed the registration process they are granted access to
